HELP -Instrument cluster decal

Just recieved an small bird decal for the instrument cluster on the 2002 WS6 from Brent Franker. A couple of people helped me with the beginning steps but I am now stuck with the main frame around he instrument cluster already removed. I now need to know how to get the clear plastic lens off of the instrument cluster itself?? I see 2 screws kinda far back but if I take those out the entire cluster will have to be removed. Do I have to take the entire cluster unit out (with wires still attached)?? or does the clear lens simply pop off ?? In desparate need of HELP.

you need to take the cluster out. There are no wires attached as the cluster just plugs in, like female and male plugs. Then the clear part can be seperated.

I got the frame unsnapped, but tried every way possible to get the damn thing from around the steering wheel column. It gets stuck every time on the steering wheel tilt /adjustment box located on the rear of the steering wheel column ( I tried numerous ways to get it off without breaking it -No luck). The wires connected to the fog light switch on the left, also pose a problem when trying to get the frame off. I now know how to unscrew the cluster and remove the clear plastic lens, but I just cant get the frame from around the damn steering wheel tilt box??? -VERY Frustrating. I even looked for a way to temporarily remove the box but for a small decal- the installation is ridiculuous. Any ideas?? I almost never give up, but damn I'm starting to think this decal isn't worth the frustration.

yeah, i remember thinking that that piece wouldn't come out either, but it did eventually. Keep trying i guess. I left the fog light switch connected after I got it off and left the plastic surrounding piece to the left of the steering wheel. I added silver gauges and a black bird decal, and it didn't seem worth it to pat someone to do it. Here are some pics to inspire you to keep at it. In end, it was worth it.
