headlights problems

are the headlights supposed to raise and lower when i lock the door? and how can i turn on just fog lights and not head lights? 98 t/a

is your headlight motors good??? mine started doin that when my driver side headlight motor started grinding and acting up.. replaced the motor, problem fixed ..

My firehawk did that and it grinded for a few secs after setting the alarm so i replaced both motor gears with brass ones from bfranker and they work $85.00 for both sides the website also has a video(install) very simple good luck......http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix/index.htm

for the second question... just turn on your fog lights and turn the headlight knob one notch to the right so its straight up at the P in stead of two notches to where the headlights flip up.

Does your car have factory alarm mine doesnt so mine don't popup mine just has keyless entry without alarm

yeah it has a factory alarm, so if i change the bad gear my headlights will work the way there supposed to.
