HEADLIGHTS: has anyone ever tried these?
just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or seen these fit on a 00 ws6? they are close to the size of the stock bulb but the stock bulb is short by both lengths. short 1/8" in width, short 3/8" in height. it says these bulbs are universal fits any 4"x6" headlight. and for the price its almost worth buying and seeing if i can make them work somehow. id like to have the HID conversion (seal beams not pop up deletes) both seem a little pricey!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PILOT...Q5fAccessories

I had those in my Typhoon.
The led thing is cool, but you'd have to pop up the headlights and then shut them off in order to see them. Once you turn on the headlights the LED colors get washed out. The main advantage is ditching the sealed beam and being able to put in "regular" bulbs.
I didn't realize they made them for 4-lamp systems....or do they?

i love the typhoons. i had never seen one in person untill like august of last year when a customer had came in with one to get some mechanical things done. very fast suv! doesnt compare to the TB SS though! lol i think the link i posted only comes with two bulbs. but even so, $30 for a set is almost worth trying to be able to use halogen type bulbs. and if they dont work on my 00 then maybe they would work on my dad 93 formula. and if they do work i can always order up another set for the highs.... i just dont want to spend $30 and then not have a use for them!

Those are pretty cheap. i say try it for $33 its worth a try.
I would not mess with the LED part. Are they glass or plastic? If they are plastic then they probably will not last long though.
