Headlight wiring harness repair?
So like everyone else with a trans am/firebird, the power/motor headlights are an issue. I've replaced both left and right motors. Drivers side works like a charm. Passenger side is done and replaced but not powering the motor up or down. I ran the power and ground out away from the sealed harness connector and still no power to the passenger motor. The headlight will turn on the passenger side but no movement. Am I missing something in the wire chain that could cause an open circuit? And I bypassed the connector because of corrosion. Where can I purchase new wire terminals to replace? I understand the complete forward wire harness is disc. through GM. Any tips on what he repair could be?

Have you probed the connector for power?

I have not done that yet. But I will. good suggestion. I was wondering if there are any separate fuses for the headlights or is there a something I'm missing in the wire chain?

I can't say without looking, but it is possible that there is both a fuse and a relay in the underhood electrical panel. Doesn't hurt to check the panel on the end of the dash as well. I forgot to mention - make sure your ground wire is hooked up.
