Headlight Will Not Stay Up
Problem: When I turn on the headlights, the driver-side headlight comes up and goes right back down. I talked to my uncle, and he thinks there is a piece that fell off (that keeps the light up).
Any ideas? Do you know what this part is called, and can I order it without ordering a new motor?
Thanks!

Does it make any noise? what about when you put them down or arm the car? Could be the gear inside the motor. May be a piece of the armature that operates it.

Most likely the arm that goes to the motor has either broken, come loose, lost the nut, or something like that. Im dealing with mine comming loose all the time.

Replace the gears if it's not a loose arm. (Which I doubt, ..., If it goes up, then goes back down, that tells me it's attached.)
You can turn the gear 180 degrees & get by. But the plastic gear will just do it again over time.
