    Angry headlight problems

    everytime i lock or unlock my car my head lamps lift and close. then the passenger side makes a loud noise. the car is a 02 trans am. HELP!!!!

    I see your in Temple, TX. I am just down the road from you in Belton. So what car do you have?

    Your headlight gear(s) are stripped. Do a search, there are many threads about this issue.

    Yeah its definitely you head light motor gear there is a nylon gear and a metal screw gear the screw gear is tearing up the nylon gear you can get a new brass gear to replace it. I had the same thing happen to me i had to take out both headlight motors pull the gear covers off take out old crappy nylon gear replace with the brass gear don't forget to lubricate the screw gear then put the epoxy on the gear lid cover edges only! or you risk messing everything up then put the cover back in place and make sure it is in place properly and let it dry for about 15-30 minutes repeat the process for the other side and you will never have to worry about "The buzzers" as i called them lol it is about $90 bucks total for both kits and you can get the kit here >>>> http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix/ hope this helps
