headlight over-tightening itself? (not a plastic gear issue)
Every so often my driverside headlight will not raise. Ive found that I have to pop the hood, and manually turn the motor knob a few times to loosen it up. doing this will allow the headlight to work a few more times before I have to get out and do it again.
It seems like everytime the motor either raises or closes, it tightens itself just a little more until eventually it will not work.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I'm going to play with a can of wd40 and see if that helps.
