    headlight motor

Is it possible I got a a drivers side motor instead of a passenger side? Im askign because i cant for the life of me get the two headlights to come up at the same time. One will go up while the other goes down. I think when i went to get the passenger side motor they might of possibly given me a drivers side. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

try to unplug one of the motors and then turn the switch to on and then reconnect the motor and turn them off and see what happens.

If that doesnt work make sure both of the arms that attach to the motors are facing the same direction. Its real easy to have one arm bent the wrong direction and that will cause what youre describing. Ive replaced 2 different motors in headlights on these cars.

I had that issue when I replaced the gears in my 01. So, I turned the lights off, then the one that was up I lowered by hand. Turned the car on, and let it run for 15 minutes to let the computer reset. Then turned them on, and they worked great after that. Note- This was the advice of the mechanic in the auto shop on base. I didnt just conger the s**t up. I dont know that much about cars, but it worked for me. goodluck.

I finally fixed my headlight. It was both the wire connector and headlight motor. It involved alot of trouble shooting, but i finally got it. I was determined not to pay a mechanic to do it lol.
