Headlight/Foglight Question?

When I turn on my parking lamps I only want my fog lights to come on. But... When I do, the headlights pop up. How do you just make the fog lights come on without the headlights coming up? I have seen it on other TA's, but mines doesn't work that way. 2000 WS.6

do your headlights ratchet when you arm the alarm or turn off the headlights?

Yeah, I changed the gear in the motor, but still grinds. But should that matter? When I turn just the parking lights on the headlights pop up but they don't come on. I don't see why the headlights come up with just the parking lights on???

yes it does matter... I was having the same problem until i replaced my head light motor.. It also made my headlights pop up instead of the horn beeping when I hit the lock button on my remote. Once you get rid of the grinding it will work properly.

Yeah these headlight gears will cause all sorts of wierdo problems...

or you can do like me and have a "good" week, where the problem gives you a small respite, and your car doesn't sound like ass every time you stop at circle k.....twice.
