Headlamp Replacement

gotta do my headlights, any suggestion on replacements other than oem ones. I wanna go HID but not anytime soon. Maybe some sort of clear blues or whites or somehting like that?

The only option I know of is the conversions from eurolights.com. This will be your best bet because you will need them to run hid's. I think they run around 80 bucks but they come with a blue or yellow colored bulbs. send me a pm if you need more info.

WS6, do you have any probs with the fog housing melting due to heat? Or do HID's run cooler than halogen?

They seem to run about the same temp maybe a little bit cooler. I have not had any problems whatsoever. I have'nt had them in for more than a couple months and they have around a doezen hours on them, so far its all good.

A friend of mine who owns a YZF-1000R upgraded to HIDs and he claims they run with less power and run cooler. Similar to LEDs he said (not sure bout that). Also, does on-coming traffic at night flash you b/c of the HIDs not being in a projector type housing?

They do use less power except upon initial start up they use a little more power than halogens. As far as traffic goes I live out in the middle of bfe and I do get flashed on occasion but mainly for the headlights. Like ls1camino said who gives a f*~+ HA HA., no but really if I go to a more populated area it doesent happen.
