Ghey.
To do it right you have to cut a chunk out of the top of your fender...in front of the mirror and i think roll it further down.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I don't believe it 'looks cool' at all. But we all have our own opinions.
It does add weight. I mean, those new 'hinges' have to support a HUGE ass door.

I can think of much better things to spend my money on when it comes to modding a Trans Am.
It is also quite funny to me that they call them 'scissor' doors now....
Even lambo is getting away from using them....
Plus, that style is something you tend to see on 'riced' out imports....
Just sayin'....2008 Trailblazer SS

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Some people go for the looks some go for the performance. Most people here would rather have mods that help the racing end of the car, versus a mod thats only good when your car is parked. Probably because f-body's were meant to run.

I say go for it! I've always thought about doin it but dont have $12-1500 for a hinge mod. I think it looks cool. I like the vertical doors that kinda rotate and come out at the same time. instead of poping out and then hinge, the door does this wierd rotating thing and stops vertically. It puts the door like almost where the fender is.
Anyway, its all about being unique.
I bet Chip Foose didnt get where he is because he did what everybody else did...
Do what you do..
