Grotyohann headers

Followed this site since I got my TA in 1998. Still have it with 50,000 on it. Never posted, but learned a lot. Looks like new. M6, drive occasionally. Have Borla exhaust on it. Struggled with our guy in the day with headers. Got a set of Grotyohann Long tube headers. Never put them on. Am I the only person with a pair of these never used? Have ram air suncoast hood, still drive occasionally in the summer. This site has been great over the years.

Never heard of this brand of headers. Why did you never install them?

It was always on my list of to do jobs. Just never got around to it. Would look at the engine bay and plan to do it later.��
The headers are the first long tubes for the LS1 and Roger Grotyohann designed them. They were very difficult to get and not many were made. Many people never received their orders, resulting in a lot of Anger. By the time mine appeared(6 months), I had already done Borla, just no headers. A lot of talk about it 20yrs ago on the LS1 sites. I can’t believe I still have the car, just can’t talk myself into getting rid of it.

Have LG motorsports world challenge 17in wheels on it. Like the Mickey Thompson tires from Summit Racing.

Surprised nobody has heard of these headers. Think this is the only set never installed. Going to install in the the next month and do a cam. Was going to do headers and exhaust on my cayman S and found the cost 3X the cost of my TA upgrade. Will do the Pontiac first.��
