NICE! I love the look of the LT1 Formula with that hood.

I actually think I like it better than the LS1 treatment.

No way those hoods look like shit compared to newer style that 98-02 T/A's have.

Would have updated the complete front bumper and all.

do it in flat black. that would really touch off your car.

agreed, the looks of the LT1 style ram air hood is just aggressive enough and not over done. the lines of the hood flow with the lines of the car, esp. when the front bumper is the TA front end.

YES WAY!!! the only ram air hood that looks good on the 98-02's is the firehawk hood because its not done way over the top like the Ws6 hoods are. the firehawk hood lines flow in proportion with the rest of the car. the Ws6 design is nothing more than the design department trying to hard to make the car look aggressive. IMO, all Ws6's should have come with the firehawk hood, and the firehawks should have came with the ugly ass, over designed Ws6 hood...

IMO, it's the 98-02 Ws6 hoods that look like shit. that's why i chose my SS over the Ws6. I couldnt stand to look at something so ugly everyday. also speaks to the fact i bought a '95 TA and an OEM '97 Ram Air hood to put on it. it simply looks better...

I say wrong to you sir!!

All one has to do is see the two next to each other and the 98-02 would new over and over again.

Like comparing and F-body to a Mustang!

You can't be wrong on a personal opinion.

Fine, you like the later hood, we like the earlier hood. Who cares?

And I agree about the Firehawk hood being cleaner. I like the WS6 hood, but the one thing I don't like about it is how it hangs over the lower nose openings just a bit, it makes it look like it doesn't fit quite right.

i like all the hoods. to sswt00ss,me being a firehawk owner why should the ws6's came with a firehawk hood and the firehawks came with a ws6 hood. my personal preference is firehawk or ss slp maros and then ws6 and a ss maro are equal.

I like my WS6 style aftermarket hood. Better than the flat TA hood. If I had my choice and wanted to spend all the extra money I like the Firehawk and raptor hoods better. But for $250 I got the WS6 style and it was in stock here in Houston.
