    Got my bird back

I picked my car up yesterday, I had a new clutch installed as well as got the transmission rebuilt at tickperformance. New wheels too! I'll post up some better pictures once I get them cleaned up as the wheels were in storage for a while and are pretty dirty. The wheels are one piece forged privat Netz 19"s.

I ended up going with the Centerforce dual friction clutch; so far I like the feel of it. I also upgraded the master cylinder and replaced the hydraulics. Now I just gotta break it in so I can get to the track and do some runs with her!

It's so nice to have my 'Bird back!!!

The rebuild was 1150 with free shipping, the Master cylnder I bought on sale for 299$ and slave/throwout I bought for 120$. The clutch was 400$. Altogether I spend around 2K. Man, shouldnt ever add up prices like that. It was worth it, the car couldnt handle the power it's making with the stock trans.

Milled 243s, comp cam, Hooker S/C headers with no cats, LS6 intake(Ported), ported TB, magnaflow, full suspension, Im sure there's some stuff I'm forgetting. The only thing I have left to do is get a new rear end eventually. Put down 416/385 in 90 degree FL weather.

Also it's got 373 gears and SFCs. and lowered

Congrats bro, glad to see you got her back. How does that head and cam power feel now that you have a tranny that can handle it? Me and my girl will plan a trip out there and I can do a nice 4 stage buff and seal on her and get that black looking brand new.

Sounds good man! I washed and waxed it today and cleaned up the wheels, but by the time I was ready to take some decent pictures it was time for work. I gotta break in the new clutch and the transmission before I can really get on it too much so Ive been trying to drive it as much as possible to get past the break in period.

Thats really not that bad considering what all you had done to it, I need to get my tranny rebuilt and have all that done, but the problem is my car is my DD.
