got in a lil wreck lastnight
So i live out here in Cali, and its been raining cats and dogs. iwas on my way to work on the freeway doing about 45 in the slow lane. tires had about 65% tread left, so i hit a dip and the car spins out. i spin out across 4 lanes and hit the concret center divide. hopefully the insurance guy doesnt total my car out.
heres the pics

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
How did you get it to the current resting place?
That quarter panel can be beat back into place and bondo'd. Trunk looks fine, need a new tail light and rear bumper. Hope the axel/suspension is ok-upgrade to a beefy Moser and some Koni shocks if it's not .

I'd say you were lucky that no one else got hit. You must go to work before rush hour. That's a bonus right there.
Hopefully its not that bad and just cosmetic. But, at least you weren't hurt.
Strange though to just spin outta control like that doing 45. Our freeways suck out here anymore. Seems like they are all a bumpy ride these days. Need lots of work done on them

whats with you guys spinning your t/a out? my tires literally have no tread, even when they do have tread i'm cautious when it rains.

I'd say going only 45 is cautious

Is that like, what you bet?
Sorry to see that dude. I was crapping my pants when it started DOWN POURING and I hate the Mickey Thompson ET STreets on. I hated those tires for daily driving. And trying to drive in rain with them? Forget it. I dont think they will total that out.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Must have hydroplaned then. Even at 45 that can happen, even with decent tires. In the dip must've been enought water to cause it. At least you weren't hurt, and looks to me like the car will survive the insurance repair.
Good Luck!

I don't think they'll total it. need a bumper cover, some new reinforcement parts under the cover, taillight, andI would say weld in a new quarter panel as opposed to pulling and bondo. Not hard to do for a shop and you get a much better end result.

That sucks man. It doesn't look too bad. Just get on ebay you can find the headlight. I live in FL and there is a guy selling a bumper for 50 bucks. It is black. But you live in Cali so I know is too far. Good Luck.

Sucks, sorry about that. Your car looks fine though, probably no frame damage, insurance shouldn't total it.
