    Good Deal On a 01?

I'm about to pick this 2001 Trans Am Ws6, and I'm just wondering if this is a good price. I went and saw it, test drove it, was perfecttt, and talked them down quite a bit and they are holding it for me, but before I throw out a price I want to see what you guys think..

That's the link.. No one ever sat in the back seats and no one ever put their feet on the carpet or floor mats. It has 10k miles and owners (one owner) are in their late 50's. In fact, they have floor rugs in the car so no one would touch the original interior with their feet. It has window sticker, original plastic on the front floor both front and back and plastic still on the back seats, t-tops were never even taking off yet. It has taupe interior, looked it up and only round 301-320 were made with this interior. They ordered special from factory and had i built for them. Interior is show room quality no wear at all even on leather, no cracks, or anything in door panels. Only thing they did to it was change battery and driver side window motor, but that was covered under warranty when they had it then and it never once was in the rain or anything else so exterior is flawless, they always had it in their garage or in storage.. So what do you guys think?

I find it a little odd people in their late 50's bought a stick shift car.

Were the tires new? It looks like they are worn in the pics, but it is hard to tell. They should look new with that mileage.

I'm not too sure on the price. It is steep, however, finding these cars now-a-days with low miles and unmolested is becoming more and more rare.

Tires were perfect. Prob could get another 20k or maybe less on them. She said it was her mid life crisis car. I stuck my finger in the tread and felt like at least a good quarter inch left at least but maybe less I didn't measure or anything. but they are the original tires that came with it

Talked them down almost 5k, so 18,900. So would that be a better price? I should be picking it up next weekend and pretty much just parking it and keeping it like my old TA, start putting 4 coats of wax a day in my garage and make her shine and just stare at her.

I'd say 18.9 is a decent price for it. Normally not but with only 10k and flawless everything, kind of hard to argue. The video said it was automatic lol. Go for it man.

I can't imagine just waxing it and sitting it though . Unless that's truely what you want, a car show car or something but... drive it!

18.9K seems like a ok price for a car with such low mileage. Since you plan on letting it sit in the garage, you might as well have a clean car to stare at.

Funny thing is.. I'm only 20 and plan on not driving it. I just love the 98-02 F-Bodies so much I don't want to take chances of a rock coming up, dump people at stores who see a car and get jealous or anything other thing that could happen. Thinking about it scares the crap out of me..

I personally wouldn't spend 19K on something I planned on just staring at.

Well of coarse I'm going to drive it, just not on a regular basis, not planning on putting 10 to 15k a year on it.

There are plenty of cars to be afraid of driving, but the 4th gen isn't really one of them. They are relatively easily replaced.
