Girdle load bolt spec?

How many foot pounds for the load bolts 5 or 10? Some specify one or the other or in between

Go with the specs that the manufacturer states.

The differences you see between them could be a variety of things like material make up, thickness, bolt size, etc.

I would hope that the manufacturer has tested their product to know the specs they apply to them.

Big companies like TrickFlow, Moser, Strange I would have very little doubt about that. However some of those ebay companies that sell "cheaper" replicas I have serious doubts of quality.

I was curious why they differ - seems a little extreme 5 or 10? They all state not to over torque. I have no issues with the diff so I put it to 65 inch pounds ( I think it's like 5.5' pounds)I was going to change it and put it at like 7.5 but I don't think it makes much difference in my case. I am probably launching the car on unprepared asphalt on street tires(A4) maybe 60 times a year so hopefully it at least does no harm.

Btw thanks for the advice over the last year. I've got the knock sensors done, 180 stat, bypassed the stock PS cooler and mounted a remote cooler, and just did the Trickflow diff cover. Only thing left is to change the trans pan and add a cooler.
