    Front Tires wear.

I have a 98 Trans Am. I just went and changed my oil and I noticed that both of my tires on the front are worn all the way down to the steel belt on the inside of the tires. I dont have the stock set up in the front. Only mods are Edlebrock IAS Coil overs not sure if that would change or cause this.

Are those the same length as stock ones? Could affect it.

My suggestion would be to take it to a shop you trust and have an alignment done - if something like ball joints need replaced, they should tell you that as they usually won't do the alignment then.

You need an alignment and ideally dont drive your car except to the tire shop cause your tires can/will blowout and jack up your car.

Ya I would have to agree when that happens it's usually because it wasn't aligned after the new suspension or not done right.

you will need a performance shop that deals with after market suspension.
just getting it aligned at a dealership or firestone will only get it back too the manufacture spec's.

I just got mine done at NTB and they got it perfect. The one I went to had a good alignment guy. I have BMR drop spings, kyb agx struts, spohn sway bars, umi panhard and lca's and it's sits about 1.25 or so below stock. Had no problem except a little fender roll outback. Did a great alignment.

A performance shop isn't necessary with the suspension mods he mentioned. Any competent alignment tech can do it with ease.

could just be bad shocks, that'll cause bad wear on ur fronts with incorrect dampening.

I'n not sure about those last time I had springgs with that mucwas a 89 Mustang and I had to get special camber plates that mounted on top for more adjustment. May need something like that if they make it. Although you may be able to get it close enought. Just see how far tthe specs. are out after they do the alignment.
