It's actually a lemans light kit. They were already on the car when I bought it, and I almost didn't buy it bc of it. I couldn't pass on the deal tho, and I've come to love em. Not many people have 'em, bc
1.) there are alot of purists in our community
2.) it's about a grand to swap em!
Either way, it's mine and I love it.

Very nice! First time I have seen the fixed light setup. Definitely a different look to the car with those.

They weren't. They showed up on the firehawk prototype in that old vid and that was all she wrote.

looks good, and those lights are different, if they werent so expnesive i'd get a pair open em up and paint the black part the same color as the body, kinda c6 vette style it would clean em up a bit i think

Actually, those lights look better than what I remember the other aftermarket kits looking like, at least as nice as the original SLP lights tested on the small handful of '98 Hawk prototypes built. Nice pics.

Those lights didn't pass DOT testing, so SLP resorted back to the stock pop-ups for the '99 Hawks. This delay was at least partially responsible for the '98 Hawks never making it to production. I had planned on buying a '98 Hawk specifically because of those lights, but when I heard that they weren't going to make it into production, I "settled" for a WS6.

BTW, there were at least 2 of the 8 prototype '98 Hawks fitted w/ the fixed lights, a silver Formula and a red T/A. Both were pictured in a C&D article at the time.
