    Formy down

    Yep, my formula is officially down Blown head gasket, and a spun bearing I believe.. I don't have the tools, space, knowledge to do it myself, and I deff dont have the $$ to get it rebuilt... It was my DD, so now I have a few friends takin me to work when they can, what should I do?? Try to sell it as is??

    Depends on how you attached you are to the car. If you don't want to see it go, buy a cheep DD, and rebuild it. I did. Bought a cheep 91 Suburban with a bad tranny and a bycycle just to get me around.

    if you still want the car find a complete running engine and have it put in that will probably be less expensive than buying a "cheap" car if you dont want it anymore cut your losses and sell it as is

    I'm tooooo attached to my car, lol, every time I get paid I spend all my $$ on it, and forget that I have friends lol... I want to rebuild it soo bad but I know that's gonna be expensive as hell, I wish I could do it myself, but hell I couldn't even take the heads off to change the gasket... Anyways thnx for ur input guys..

    It's not that you "can't" do the work. You're just intimidated by it. So is everyone when they first start. Look at it this way. If you tear into it and mess something up what's gonna happen?? The car won't run. What's it doing now? Not running. Get some tools and tear into that thing. If you can read and understand the concept of righty tighty.....lefty loosey then you can do it.
