holy shit! that's a damn good run! M6 or a4? If a4, i'd say tq converter. If m6, i'd say 4.11 rear gears [unless it's a dailydriver, to which i'd say maybe sfc's b/c you're intrested in tracking]

you might benefit from www.installuniversity.com ...the section that talks about Fbodies, not the one about sewage pumps. They have some quick free-mods.
seriously, the sky is the limit on these cars, man. you can do anything you want with money. If you want a smoother ride, get new shocks. if you want a better trap, get drag radials and subframes. Possibly dyno-tune it also and free up some of those GM restricions.

But I do have a write up to the NOS sticker installation, just in case you need it. I had some problems cause the stickers weren't "universal" like the instructions say, so I wrote up an article to help anyone else through the modifications needed to make them work on our cars

It's a great mod it helps alot, very well worth the time. With ram-air you might not get as much gain as those without ram air would though

Best bang for the buck I can rec for a 6 speed is some DR. After that a cam is a nice place to start. other little things would be ported TB, MAF, LT, or gears. At least can jump to 3.73 in M6 without milage problems, 4.10 might hurt a little but well worth it. Good luck

I think it's the shiny thing stick out the back that makes our cars sound real tough! (exhaust tips) .

Come on guys recommending DRs & 4.11's on a M6 without telling him to kiss that 10 bolt goodbye? Got $2500 to pay for a 12 bolt or 9 inch yet? For a M6 I would do the following, first get the SFC($150) before you start twisting the underside of the car. I would also get some LCA($150) while you're at it, what good is power if it isn't hitting the pavement...especially in an M6 where launching can be tricky. Also since it is a DD $$$ invested in Bilstien HD shocks($335) is $$$ WELL spent, stock shocks SUCK ASSHOLE and since you DD the car you will see a HUGE improvement in driving with the HD. Also get yourself a short stick to replace the tall ass Hurst shifter, $25 or less on Ebay or get a LSS for $50. For power I would do the FRA mod, a nice set of LT headers, PAcesetters are good for the price, an ORY to go along with your CB...which CB do you have? (Please don't say Flowmaster, please don't say Flowmaster ) Ported TB can be had from New Era PErfomance in NY for $80 shipped. Also a nice size cam and a tune to top things off. Above will net you 380-400 at the wheels, depending on the size of the cam, and will be totally driveable on the street as a DD. Good luck, how much you spending?

we'll i'd watch out for the LCA's if your car is daily driven. I heard bad things about lower control arms at cruising speed. A really bumpy right and what not .

My buddy has dynoed just uder 500 on the bottel still has stock 10 bolt with 3.73 and DR and his axel does just fine. 1.7 60' 11.9 qtr. Yea its possible to bust them but probly worth the gamble.
