Firehawk Hood

Hey guys, I have a firehawk hood i'm wanting to put on my 99 firebird, I know you need a special latch, anyone know how to make it or know who's selling one?

Your front bumper will need some modification too.

Yeah, I know I gotta trim it. I just want the latch lol been looking for one for months.

I was not aware of any difference in hood latches. If you do need parts, I would check with Trans Am Creations for a used piece or GM Parts Direct for a new one.

Agree we all use he same latch it's the hood fitment that causes issues.

It's a firehawk hood though, the part thats on the hood was modified by SLP so the hood they put on wouldn't hit the bumper :/

Yes the handle to release the hood is different. You pull on it and it has a handle to do so. It's nothing like the ones we have on our Tbirds.
