Firehawk Airlid/Radiator support

Hey everyone, Just wondering if anyone drives a WS-6 with the Firehawk blackwing airlid and radiator support, I got one for fairly cheap and I am not sure if I want to use it or not, considering the inlet for ram air is almost have the size (Clearance for the firehawk hood I am assuming. Anywho, if you do please post a pic and any thoughts on the matter. Thanks!

My understanding is that the SLP "Blackwing" lid is just like any other after market lid and can be used on either a WS6 (w/ the raised airbox) or a non-WS6. The difference on the WS6s is the radiator support which provides a taller opening to the underside of the air filter and raises the lid position enough to interfere w/ any hood other than a WS6 hood (or aftermarket equivalent).

Thus, you should be able to use the lid on your WS6 no problem, but the Firehawk radiator support, as you already surmized, will reduce the size of the opening to the air filter.
