firebird forumla or trans am?

So here's an interresting question. I just picked up my 2nd firebird. its a 99.... Trans Am? The badging says Trans am on both doors and on the center piece on the tail lights.

However, the title from Georgia said it was a 1999 Firebird Formula..

so which is it?

ps its a black on black with leather and T tops ls1 auto, 6 speaker stereo. hmmm. any ideas?

Check the RPO codes on the door. I believe Formula says WS9 on it and Trans Am is WU6 or somethin like that.

ok here's another question....tell me about some of the vendors. I come from the Grand Prix World. There thers a very limited amount of vendors and your choices are very limited.

Here it seems there are as many vendors as they're are songs with the word "baby" in it.

What I want to do in 2 years is turn this into one hell of a car. I'm thinking huge hp but still street legal.

long story short, im thinking LSX block built up, a couple hair dryers and all the extra mods cage wheelie bars etc etc.... any recommendations?

I am thinking about going with the lsx block and building on it. It doesn't seem like there is a better one out there. I am also thinking the ls6 engine. ls6 is around 6K new but i dont know the cost of an lsx built to run with goodies. I am not even sure what all I need, heads, pistons, crank kit, cams. What else guys?? need some help here
