I thought all earlier Formulas had Ram Air hood scoops.

And only 43 of these were made.

If you ordered the SD455 in the Formula, it came w/ the shaker scoop/hood. Otherwise it came w/ the dual ram air scoop hood. I'm not even sure this combo was available in '74.

Indeed, THE rarest SD birds. I had a picture of a Brewster green one that was in a calendar many years ago. I don't think I've ever seen one in person. Seen lots of SD T/As.

Even though it is a Firebird it still has that sleeper look and I love the options, PS, PDB, Air, Auto, and the ever popular 8-track stereo. Sweet. I would like to see a rear spoiler though.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

Super Duties...y'all should do some research and see what other manufacturers were putting out, hi-po-wise, in 1973 and 1974. Basically nothing, these cars were at the top of that food chain.

I absolutely love the 455-SD. I'd still take it in the red TA with the screaming chicken on the hood. Only thing that would make it better would be a couple women washing it out in my driveway. Or Apu
