    Finally got my first bird

Bought her yesterday, 1999 Red T/A m6, 79,920 on the odo for now, will post pics tonight, have a couple mishaps tho, the drivers window doesn't go down, press the button and no noise is made at all, the pass window goes just fine so that makes me think its not the fuse, but i could be wrong, and the other, it seems like when i punch it in 3rd or 4th it bogs down, could need a tune up, but any advice is appreciated, but right now i'm in a daze, ive wanted one for 9 years now, and finally got her, sorry so long

Try cleaning the MAF for the bog down issue.

As far as your window. The motor is probably shot. Both of mine have went out. Very common thing. You could buy a motor off e-bay and do-it-yourself. Welcome to our world!

Thanks for the quick replys, I also felt it in 5th, i was trying to see what rpm range it was, i got a glimpse and it was between 1200-2400 rpm that it bogged down, and i figure the window shouldnt be a big deal specially since i work at a shop even if it is toyota, heres the rest of the story, found her on autotrader for 9988, i had a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 flex fuel v6 with maybe 140hp, the gave me 3000 for my truck and i financed 7500 for three years at 238 a month with gap insurance. So glad to be in a place I belong. Would anyone mind telling me how to change my name and put photos up

I would say its a sure bet that the motor is shot, unless the wiring is bad.

And welcome to the site as well. Don't know about changing names but to upload pics just go to User CP at the top of the site, then you can upload for your avatar and profile pics in there, as well as other things.

Plans: keeping up on maintenance for now, then prolly a lid, loudmouth, possibly black ZR1's, and i'll prolly be looking for a rear end since I hear the stock one is not so good with more power, open to suggestions tho, oh and i need to realign my pass headlight, it shines more on the ground, i suppose all data would work for that tho

Sexy TA. I have LM2 D/D cat-back. Love the sound, if your going for headers too people on here complain about it being to "raspy" other then just a straight cat-back system. I would say black ZR1's with tinted windows would look nice. As for the rearend, what transmission did you opt for? A4 or M6?

Haha. M6's are fun without a doubt. But you can choose between three rear ends then, the Ford 9'', GM 12'', or the Dana's. I forget which Dana though - I think the Dana 60, unless both can be used. If your looking into the Dana's just check up with someone about that first. Most M6's usually get either the Ford or the Dana rears, few opt for The Generals.
