    Engine is too loud

Don't get me wrong I love the sound. But I live in Los Angeles and the sound lets the police know that I am modified. The exhaust is okay, but I just bought the car it has Staged II headers, forged pistons, no cats, and hella other mods. I need something that can muffle the engine sound. Engine dyno'd at 430rwhp and 450 lbs of torque. Please help! Will like to enjoy my drive and only hear exhaust without worrying about getting pulled over.

shift at a lower RPM (if it is an m6) that should keep the noise down slightly..
other than that, if you want a quiet car... stock is about your only way to be
Pretty much any exhaust system for these cars is pretty loud, especially with those kind of mods, hell even the stock exhaust isn't too quiet.

Yeah it is an M6 but it's loud in neautral. I need something that can muffle the engine sound more and not the exhaust. Do those header wraps muffle the sound? I know they keep tempatures low.

I assume you have long tube headers. Putting a catted y-pipe on will quiet the car a little.

Magnaflow or Hooker are quieter exhaust setups. That might help it to only be loud at WOT.

Yeah I think I am going to add the Cats, because even though I may lose some horsepower I will save some time and headaches from tickets. I do have hooker exhaust. The exhaust is not really loud, only when I am on the gas. The car engine itself is just loud.
