    Engine Ticking now, any suggestions?

    Here's what happened:

I went to pass some idiot doing 40 in a 55. So I drop it to third and gun it. Then when I shift to fourth, which I hit just fine, and pressed the gas, it felt like it wanted to stall, so much so that it jerked me around a little. So I shifted to fifth and was able to go, but now all of the sudden there is a tick. I listned to it with a metal rod and it sounds like it's coming from the 3rd cylinder on the left side.

Anyone know what happened and what needs to be done to fix it?

sounds like a bend push rod. um you should upgrade to poly-push rods and replace all of them. i know in T-56s tend to bend pushrods more then the a4.
