white/grey trim- 1995 pontiac trans am
Does anyone know anything about a 1995 pro am collector car?
I have 1995 pro am 3 collector edition car. I think it is #183. I can't find any information about it on the internet. It is a lt1 car with a 6 spd manual tranny. Any info would help. Thanks.

What motor and drivetrain does yours have? Mine is currently having some "work" done on it so I do not have the number right off hand.

Black & Siver- 1995 Pontiac Proam3
1995 Pontiac Proam3
The 1995 Proam3 has a V-8 motor. It's base was "The Firebird Formula" The 1994 Proam2 had the V-6. It was a special order series ordered only through a Pontiac Dealer. I have number 5, of 200 made it 1995. It also is considered a Limited Edition. The conversion ordered by a Pontiac Dealer was from a company in Chattanooga TN. Whom are no longer in business. Awsome car and a collectable. Hopes this helps....

So basically all it was, was a body kit and paint on Firebirds? Or was this for Formula's / Trans Am's too? Any mods done other then body?

I really like that red/silver one.
Also was it a kit? Come from the dealer that way? Special car? Was it only a 1995 thing? I honestly never seen that before.

Black & Siver- 1995 Pontiac Proam3
The ProamIII was a special order package for the Firebird Formula, and had to be ordered directly from a Pontiac Dealer. The ProamI was made in 1993, the ProamII in 1994. The last year these cars were produced was in 1995 a ProamIII. Refer to my earlier post 11/18/08. Additionally, Some of the cars pictured here are not the original paint scheme or wheels. As the ground affects were all painted silver. The black and silver pictured is the original paint scheme and wheels.
I too have the Black and Silver #5. First car show out went "Best In Show" in the "American Sports Car Class" in Panama City, Fl. Also was chosen one of the top 100 cars registered with a total of 5,226 cars registered at the 2002 "Cruisin The Coast" in Biloxi, MS. An Award was given to me by "Dennis Gage" from "My Classic Cars" This is in deed a true collectors car.Last edited by proamIII; 11-23-2008 at 10:23 AM. Reason: Adding additional info

Sebring Silver Metallic- 1995 Pontiac Firebird
Not sure where you got your information from.. but alot of it is wrong.
The original Pro-Am was released in 1987:
The Pro-Am II was released in 1989:
Difficult to see, but you can make out the "PRO/AM II" on the door.
Here is an even better picture. Which apparently lists a Pro/Am AND and a Pro/Am I, which confuses me a bit
The Pro-Am III was released from 1993-1995. It includes all 3 years. Also silver wasn't the only color the lower portion of the car was painted. There were various different color options to choose from.Last edited by blindxeyed; 12-03-2008 at 08:25 PM. Reason: fixing picture links/added another picture
