difference in Volant CAI

whats the difference between the camaro volant cold air intake

and the firebird intake?

I understand about the "y" filter setup, but what else makes them different? i like the camaro filter more then the Y filter for my firebird, but idkk thanks!

I think they did the Y set up cuz of the WS6 hood to try n be in both nostrils, n they did the Camaro filter set up for the SS hood since it is 1 hole

are the throttle body's the same in the camaro and firebird? or like the tube size from the filter back into the TB(mass-airflow)?

Just asking because i know my buddies 04 Grand-marquis has a circular TB and he thought he could put on a K&N intake off a 04 marauder and those had an oval shape TB, and well that didnt work haha thanks guys

I have the volant and the difference is the Camaro one large oval filter compared to the y with 2 rounder filters. I've never tried a camaro style on a TA but it should clear the hood.

thanks, im still in the process now of finding one for cheap. Idk i think its a style preference, im not a fan of the 2 filters compared to one. thanks guys
