Is dark blue a negative to some buyers?

Do some people downgrade Birds because they don't like them in dark blue?

Some just think a TA should be black and won't have it any other way. I like having a TA that is different from the more common colors. I personally like blue and own a 2002 NBM. That said the particular shade of blue they used is not my favorite. In certain light it flashes purple. We like to call it Blurple. Wish it was more like the bright blue metallic used in 1997.

Funny I hate the red color in these cars. That's why when my daughter's car got painted we did it in Porsche Burgundy Red.

Wasn't asking about red, because I figured it's kind of polarizing. Too bold for some - I myself would hesitate at that level of attention - but I think there are some people who would pay extra for red. I think almost nobody would pay extra for blue.

Ppl will pay it if they want it, there are some strange tastes in ppl. It all depends on personal tastes. Some colors look really good while others look like shit. For example for me - certain blues are just blah....when I first saw my car was at night and I thought it was black, then in daylight I saw it wasn't, saw the navy blue, then under cloud cover it looked purplish. It grew on me almost instantly. Blue, like sky blue...meh, it needs accent color to make me like it. Same with white cars, plain white however add some black accents (think Storm Trooper) and damn....

Before they announced the cancellation of 4th Gen F-bodies, I was saving up for a Navy Blue Metallic WS6.

When I was looking for a WS6 in 2006-2007, I couldn’t find any NBM ones. I ended up buying the Silver WS6 that I have now.

I actually like a dark blue car, especially if the paint kind of “lights up” on curved bodylines.
