damn remote
i've had my car for a while now, No issues except for the remote lock/unlock, remote seems to work fine after i get out an lock/arm it, my issue is the unlock sometimes seems to take up to 30-40 clicks do get the car to unlock and unarm. Guy that sold me the car only had one remote and said he replaced the battery but it still did this. I dont have a huge problem unlocking with key but then it will set the alarm off and i stand there like a fool pressing the button for a minute while my alarm is going off. I think i might replace the battery again but was just wonderin if any1 else had anything similar? could just be the remote gettin worn out i guess. Anyways input would b appreciated thx! i shall go and

Replace the battery and clean the contacts, reprogram if necessary. When you open the door with the key when armed it won't go off if you get the key in the ignition within 7? or 8? seconds, can't remember exactly, but it's in the owners manual.

Take it apart and clean the contacts w/ a pencil eraser.
