    Damage to Front Bumper

To make a painful story short, I turned into a driveway too soon (at night and I wasn't paying any attention). This particular driveway has fairly steep ditches on both sides, and it scrapped some of the paint off the front bumper of my black 2000 WS6. Except for the paint, there doesn't appear to be any damage. I'd include an image, but for some reason the post is not letting me add an attachment.

Without being able to see the damage, can anyone ballpark what I should expect to pay when I take it into a shop? I'm just trying to make sure I don't get ripped off. Also, can anyone recommend a good shop in the central ohio area? Thanks!

there is a possibility the shop will start with a new bumper instead of sanding yours down and going from there-reason is it costs just as much to get the new bumper as it does to sand it all down. You might be looking @ 500-600

Same thing happened to me, the damn bumper alone is $600, so you're looking at around a grand by the time its said and done. I'm taking mine to a body shop that specializes in paint repair, they are going to paint and blend the area with the rest of the bumper.
