blacker than wesleysnipes- 98' trans am
only get 1 with your engine etc...get it put in at the I part of the Y pipe. there is really no negative effects in terms of engine etc. it will make everything shake and rattle tho ..at least mine did

Black- 2005 CTS-V
No neg effects just shit gets louder. I put an electric cutout on mine and loved it being able to change the sound of my exhaust with the flip of a switch. I have pics if you need them.

would it be louder with 2, or 1, or no noticable difference?

I run one on the I pipe right in front of the back wheel. Easier to get the cover on and off. (too cheap to go electric.) If you want two you would need to go in front of the Y pipe.

One 3 inch cutout at the cack of the ypipe should exhale more exahust than you'll need unleed you have a big cam and heads car then maybe duals.

Just finished installing a single DMH cutout on our car. Very impressed. Even with catalytic converters the car roars when you tap on the loud pedal. ORY cars must really sound nasty.
