    Cut out pros and cons

So if I got a completely stock trans am automatic and I wanted to put a cutout in would it help my car (besides the obvious..sound) or would it slow me down and be all noise??

alot of noise, but i would put money on it it will not be slower at all, but no mods, your pry not going to see much if any of a gain until you add more mods....

my e-cutout is by far my favorite mod. With stock manifolds and stock cats it won't be that loud. It'll be loud but bearable. I ran mine open 24/7 when I was on stock manifolds and cats.

    pros:
    -e-outs are cool
    -some performance gains

    cons:
    -need $
    -need time
-need to install wiring for e-outs
-need to manually unbolt for old fashoned cutouts

How would it make it slower? key starting points to making power are intake and exhaust get more air in and get the gases out with least amount of resistance = some what of a gain. Other than less back pressure i would only think of power gain. I could be wrong idk i will say i noticed a difference in my cars attitude when it was stock with E_cut-outs. But i do suggest going with E's beings its easier to push a switch then to jacking car up and putting a flang plate on the end of the cut-out.
