CTS-V Supercharger in a Trans Am??

Just got ahold of a supercharger from an 09 CTS-V, was planning on putting it on a LQ9 block with LS3 Heads. Has anyone ever had any experience putting this supercharger in a Trans Am (2000)?? It is about 5 inches taller than the stock intake manifold and it looks like it might fit, but very close. Any insight appreciated.

Couldnt be any worse then putting in a maggie. May require some cutting on the cowl but not much else i would think.

last i checked..speartech had/working on a kit for that. give them a call and ask away.

Its gonna be a B***H to fit under the hood. Might need a little fab to your hood.

not nearly as hard as you'd expect i hear...just a little spacing on the k member is what speartech was thinking

Maybe. I was thinking along the lines of a roots style, kind of like the eaton on the cobras.

Here is a pic of the supercharger, the damn thing is pretty tall compared with the Fast intake I have now.

I just don't want to start cutting away at the cowl and firewall. Anyone know if changing out the K member will give me anymore clearance? Thanks for your replies and I'll check out what speartech has going on.
