Yeah, I wouldn't trust that ebayer either. Someone claiming to be in Iraq (deployed) scammed by grandfather on Autotrader back in Nov/Dec. He didn't lose anything - since he still had the car. But the guy "bought" the car and claimed to have sent money several times and just wasted his time (maybe it was just a deployed person just screwing around with people for 'fun' as I remembered people doing when I was in, who knows, doesn't really matter now) and of course, he delisted the car from Autotrader a few days later (it had only been on there a few days so there was a waste of $$$) after it "sold".
Email/Internet communication only is always a bad sign. I like being able to call someone or see them in person. Too many scammers, can't trust junk like that. I wouldn't pay $2500 for that mess anyway.

What tard has a 35th Anniversary T/A in storage without any insurance? He'd at least of had comprehensive coverage and that type of damage would be covered. I don't see any way for that to be a clear title. Smells fishy...and burnt. I can't wait for the weather to improve because I'll be taking some pictures of my friend's pristine 30th Anniversary T/A and my car.
