corvette bumper on a bird

Just wonderin if anyone has seen this done.

I have a 99 bird with a badly damaged front bumper cover.... and I can get a nice bumper from a 99 vette for cheap.

Just not sure if it will work as I have no way to measure the vette one before I buy it.

Pics, or any input is greatly appreciated.

I just don't see it fitting properly. you'd have to do a lot of custom fab, and then, it probably still won't flow with the design.

did some measuring on one at the local dealer... of course its off in a few areas, but I think I could fab most of the gaps & overlaps, and some of the body lines to make em match up.

After putting it in prespective though... I'm gona have to agree with you guys, it just wouldn't look right even if I do a great job.... just trying to do something original.

Anybody got a bumper cover for sale..?. firebird or TA, couldn't care less which one. Thanks

I hit a stone wall going rather fast....

I can get a vette bumper in nice shape for $100, saw it on craigslist

I haven't been able to find a firebird or TA cover for less than $500
