    Common Interior Color?

I almost never have passengers in my car, so my passenger door never gets used, and I hardly pay attention to it, but I looked over today and noticed I had a crack in the door panel. Like right where the door lock indicatior would be on an old car. Three inches from the back jam, right below the window. On that 3 inch wide curved part. It's only one crack and just starting to form. I want to get a replacement cause that is going to look like shit and my interior is flawless otherwise. I was wondering how common the graphite grey interior was if it will be hard to find? All I ever see is black.

Graphite is pretty common. 2000 and up is Ebony, and 99 on back is Graphite, so it shouldn't be hard at all to find.

I've seen alot for sale on Ebay, Might wanna try there, I haven't had that crack yet I just had the wear mark on the driver seat. I had my boss fill it in and re-dye the seat and it looks like new. You may fin someone who does it in your area. We fix dashes all the time with a special filler and the a pad that matches the grain in the plastic, then a re dye and iy looks like new.

The crack is very common. When you get a new panel there is a mod you can do.... I'm lookin for the link.... but it will solve your problem. I will find it later today.

Sweet, hope you find the link. Can't figure out what would have caused it though? There is no flex going on there at all that I can notice.

Pretty common problem. If you don't have the cracks yet, ..., there's a good chance that you eventually will.

Open your window, and as you see it go down the last couple inches, watch the door panel flex. That stress seems to create the crack right at the square corner in the cut-out on the backside of the panel. (Cut-out not visible when viewing the panel mounted on the door.)

If you find panels without the cracks, do the repair noted in the link before you put them in the car.

Panels will be costly if you can find them. Anywhere between $75-200+.
I've bought a few of them & done the repair & then re-sold the panels, but I don't have any right now.
