I dont think it is any more rare than any other base color on the ta.

My question is WHY would you want to repain that car? It looks really nice...

My wifes SS camaro is Sebring Silver, of which only 600 were made.

That WS6 looks dead on the same color. It's not the rarest of colors but it isn't seen too often, most were that dull color that I think was called Pewter

Thats a factory color, available '95-'00 and '02 (not sure why it wasn't available in '01). Not as common as red or black, not nearly as rare as purple or gold. About the same as white.

Check link in sig for breakdown.

Oh wow, I guess I didn't catch that part Shady (eyes are going )

I agree, I wouldn't paint the car unless it needed it. Even then keep the original color on it. Sebring silver is a great looking color, shows off the body line yet is somewhat subtle, doesn't show dust as quickly, much easier to keep clean, and it looks great with chrome wheels

If it's another color you are looking for, I'd keep looking. There are a ton of 4th gens forsale, you can pretty much pick the color and interior combo you want if you keep looking around.

I found a source with a nice break down. From most to least.

    For 2002 WS6 6-speed T-top cars only.

    black 2071
    pewter 959
    red 854
    blue 742
    silver 607
    white 455
    sunset 303

Only white and sunset or more rare. Spreading 607 around the world it's easy to see why you don't see many this color running around.

I don't know what MRM stands for, but what I have listed is all I could find specifically for WS6 Ttop 6 speed cars for 2002.

What ever that MRM stands for, it could have been applied to T/A's and Formula's maybe?? But I didn't see it listed for the WS6.

Ah okay. The list I found was pretty short with the names of the colors.

It just said "blue" (which I assume is Navy Blue Metallic)
It just said "sunset" which should be sunset orange metallic, and so on.

For red it just said,,,,well,,,,,red I guess it could be Maple Red Metallic I'm betting though it's more than likely just plain ole' red.

    Oh I gotcha now.

I like that better than just red. Always been a huge fan of the deep dark reds and maroons.
Painted my wifes scrambler Candy Brandywine with ghost flames, loved it.
