    cock-eyed headlight

I've been pretty lucky until now with my headlights. I have an 02 ws6 with 20k on it. Neither one makes noise, but I walked outside and noticed the other day that my driver's side was raised enough to get a finger under. the other is normal. after a little pilfering, I found that the headlight went up and down in full range of motion, but when it went down it would go down like normal, and then raise again that half inch or so. I don't want to start taking poking around before I know what I'm looking for. any ideas on a fix? thanks!

Mine does the same exact thing. I haven't looked into it either though. As a matter of fact, I actually planed on examining it tomorrow. I'll post if I figure anything out.

I figured it out, there was one stopper that had worn enough to let the assembly slide by it instead of catch it.

Is it the stopper thing that is on the inside side (close to the middle of the nose) of the lights?

yeah, it's a light beige color...and mine's doing it again. You will be able to see where it is rubbed away on one side, I'm going to get into mine again today and see why it's doing it again. Everything else should be your base color around it.

Ok yep, I've got the same exact problem then. I wasn't sure if that was it the first time I look at it. I'm going to try to look again today when I get home from church.
