    Charging gauge 2002 ws6

    Where does everyone's charging gauge run? Mine is at or below 13

    Mine appears to be fairly accurate, but runs from 13 to almost 15 at times. Depends upon what the computer thinks is needed. I would simply verify that the gauge matches the reading on a DVOM.

    MY 98 convertible generally stays below thirteen. has been that way for years. with ac and radio[aftermarket speakers and amps] on stays pretty close to red. i've found that if i turn the headlights on for a few seconds it jumps back up and stays there when i turn off headlights. i ve had this checked out a few times but mechanic says everything is fine. car has 267k miles on it and i have not had electrical problems other than when power steering leaks. on my 3rd alternator.

    Mine is normally around 13, but sometimes at idle it drops slightly.
