i have a 02 trans am, long tubes, magnaflows, and ory, i dunno nothign about his car, should i race him? would i have a chance?

i dont know much about the challengers but they look heavy as shit, and i would say run him either way if its just a gentlemans bet you got nothing to lose..

the srt-8 runs a 13.3 stock 1/4 mile....same as the TA so you have the advantage since you have work done to your car

is there an apperance diff on the rt and srt 8? he got kinda cocky and starting talking crap about allllll LS1's and all i said was i dnt think they are all crap and walked off and he grabbed my shoulder and said so what you waan talk like a big boy lets line them up and i said uhmm ok...

i raced a new Challenger with my stock 1994 Trans Am and beat him by 3/10 of a second so you should be fine

Not sure about the design, but I think all SRT8s have 20s.

I have beat a SRT8 and a RT Along with a 2010 SS (what a waste of money he should have bought a used C6 instead)so you shouldn't have a problem.

Hey man I beat a new SS camaro with my stock ta from a dig twice. If the camaro aint worried about the challenger, Why should I be? plus I got LT's ORY and a catback now.

Don't sweat it too much just know that everything is a possibility and you may lose. Be prepared to be suprised on either side.
