Collector Yellow (54U)- 2002 Trans Am CE
The plaques that any CETA have are custom made for the owner. They were not numbered from the factory like the 99 30th Anniversary T/A's.
As for finding out your number.
I have heard that you can contact ASC and acquire the info. It might take a few calls to them, but from what I hear sometimes they are able to help.
I don't have any specific contact info tho. Sorry.
Good luck

Does anyone know why my CETA has a black round emblem mounted behind the rear windows that says "LAST OF A BREED 1967-2002" I have not seen this on any others ? I bought it from the original owner and I believe he said it came on it from OEM ?
Thanks

Aftermarket plaque, perhaps even added by the original dealer which maybe is why the original owner thought it was OEM, but those weren't added by GM or ASC during the build.

Thanks, I suspected that may be the case.

Collector Edition Yellow- 2002 Trans Am CETA# 861
CETA Production - Telephone Number
ASC Global Headquarters used to be in Southgate, MI where they have since abandoned their headquarter building leaving all the old lot entrance signs up, etc. The company went belly up for a while and was brought back to life by one of the employees. Since this occurred, they pretty much have stopped associating themselves with the build of these cars... moving their office building now to Warren, MI.
If you call 866-790-5600 and tell them your full VIN within a matter of minutes the very nice people at General Motors Customer Care will research your vehicle production number and tell you verbally... then they will follow up with a letter of authenticity.
Kinda cool...
Good Luck and Post your Number!

All you with CEs.... check out the Collector Edition F-body site. There is a section in there to buy badging and such, to include the badge that you can mount beside the cup holder with your production number.
lol, sorry, forgot the house rules...lol, yes google "collector edition F-body site" and it will be the first one to pop up.Last edited by TACE02; 09-10-2010 at 02:54 PM. Reason: Link deleted.
