I just ran against one at the local track. He had a better reaction time , I was late . He also had a better 60' , I was spinning the tires bad { m6 + 45 degrees and street tires = no traction }. I caught him by half way thru 2 nd gear and pulled away easily. He was .4 slower than me . He was stock except for exhaust. I am completely stock except for lt, ory and slp exhaust. I would think you should have no problem. I was granny shifting also.

You should have no problem beating him. I beat an 04' goat here in town pretty easily. They weigh a ton.

Make sure hes stock, with the right mods the 04' GTOs are fast.

Blazen Orange Metallic- 2006 GTO
He's probably about 275 lbs heavier than you. Take out the subs and amp, that's gotta be worth a good 50lbs. You have the same engine, a lighter car, and more mods...you should win.

Dude dont even worry about it, my friend has an 05 6.0 those things are slow, they way a ton, i pulled him at least 3 links in a 1/8. But they are monsters over 100 mph, they really shine top end. My friends is an auto and at the time my ws6 was bone stock with 75,xxx, auto also.

My 04 ran a 13.6 a month ago. It's pretty much stock except for a K&N and torque management reduced.

I have raced both aswell and the caddi is by far faster, it only weighs 3500lbs, with 400hp while the gto is like 3750 with 400hp. Both are badass cars though, and i beat a couple ls2 GTOs by 2-3cars and that caddi had exhaust and i took him by about 1 car or so up to 110.

Yeah they are both around 3800 my bad, but the caddy was faster, he may have been just a better driver. But i have seen better times out of CTS-Vs then i do ls2 GTOs, most i see at the track are stock or just exhaust i have seen stock caddys pull high 12s on street tires and ls2 goats struggle to get out of the 13s.
