Buying a new Bird

I am selling my 00 t/a and buying a 02 sunset orange m6 all stock with 24k on it. Everything on it has been taken care of never ran hard still even has factory tires on it with about 60%tread left. I am picking it up for 24k. You guys think this is a bad deal?

It sounds super except the part about the tires. 60% tread left with 24,000 miles?? Even if babied I don't see how. Congratulations on the new purchase. Great color and I think the right price too if it's like new.

sounds pretty decent,especally if it is real clean,i just paid 23000.for a 99 30th anniv.all orig 19k

I agree with JB, 24k is too high. I have a 02 ws6 convert. with 20600 miles that I bought in Dec. for under 18k. The car was in new condition and had new rubber on it. I would try to get the price down if I were you.

Bought it used about 6 months ago for $18,700 with 48k miles.

id try asking 20k for it. do you know any of its build numbers.?

Or just look at the last five numbers of your vin. thats aleast a line number.

someone will pay 20,000 to 24,000 for it
i like to think that the so-called rarity of the SOM's add a few dollars
they only made just over 300 m6 SOM ram airs in 02
when we sell we like top dollar...when we we buy we want a deal

if i was to sell mine i would ask 24,000 for it ....what would i take ?????????
stock a4 SOM 18000 miles
i cant believe those tires are original... mine are shot

Personally Id stick with the 2000 but thats not your question. Is it overpriced, yes.. It does have low mileage though. Got to consider that.

My 2000 has got 74k on it and if i wanted to get anything out of it i figured i would sell it now and buy a newer one with less miles on it. I got 15,500 out it and the guy who bought it was buggin me for about the past 2 months so it wasnt hard to sell. I drove my 00 a lot and now i just kinda want one to have one and really only drive every now and then. I was gonna buy a new gto but IMO nothing compares to the look of the t/a.
