buddy sellin his '98 ta
My buddy is thinking of selling his 6spd '98 trans am with 80,000miles this summer (85,000 by then). Hes always babied his car and its in amaxing condition. Hes asking 9,000 from me without all his mods or 11-12,000 with his long list of mods including true duals and qtp headers. He would even take the bus to school if it rained but now has been forced to drive in all weather due to communting to college.
But anyway do you think thats a fair deal or how low do you think i should offer him if i choose to sell my '00 v6 nbm bird for it? oh and his is white (not my favorite color)Last edited by 2000pontiac6; 04-11-2007 at 02:11 PM.

Red- 2002 Camaro SS
From my experience, its always good to buy a used car from someone you know being that you know how it was treated and modded over the years. I think 9k is a little high, but if you are comfortable with it, its most likely worth the extra 1-3k...IMO, Ask him to give it to you for 9k with all parts otd...If he does, buy it!

lets hear more of the mods. In general mods barely add to the price of a car. People think it will, but it generally just scares away a lot of buyers. But since your know the car wasn't ragged on then i wouldn't mind paying a little more.
