    That's why I keep a spare around. Just in case I need a new one. If I were you, I'd just get a crate engine from Thunder Racing or something. Fully built short block, slap on your heads and accessories and you're good. If everything on your engine is still good besides the short block, you're fine. So what happened? I'm rebuildiing my LS6 right now to a 383. Have the stocker in right now with H/C
