brake light dilema

i need a third brake light for a 2000 trans am. there are two styles. i need the rectangular one. even where to find an after market one would be helpful. gm says they're discontinued. BUMMER

i have 2 that i was painting with vht and never finished...they need to be re-painted with vht again, if your interested just let me know, ill get rid of them for you for a good price

every once in a while ebay will have one , and you might want to try hitting up harksthirdgenparts.com. i got one from them for $45 ...also, youre talking about the 3rd brake light for the trans am's with the taller spoiler? i have 2 of those, and 1 regular brake light like the ones for the firebird hatch...just let me know

can u send pics if yours come to a point on the upper side they wont work mine are rectangles looking down from the top of the spoiler thx for the help

looking down from the top of the spoiler. youll see a rectangle if its like mine. some dont show at all from the top. some go out to a point from the top and top ill see if i cant send a pic of my spoiler opening. that might help too.
