brake light.
yes another f body with one brake light dimmer than the other, my left one is way darker than my right and so called "defective" by the cops, keep gettin pulled over for it, and i cant drop the cash to get a new light so i was thinking about putting a l.e.d bulbs in my left one to make it as bright as my right.... what do you guys think?? any otjher suggestions? and also let me know if you know where to get l.e.d brake bulbs cuz im havin trouble finding one

this probably has nothing to do with the bulbs. check to make sure your wiring is right, most of the time it is just a ground. pull the bulbs out to make sure there isnt any obvious defects such as a broken fillament or corrosion around any fittings. going the led rout is going to be a lot more expensive than checking grounds or replacing bulbs.

is it the brake light or the tail light. any other querks with lights in the vehicle, turn signals, parking lights.ect

Normally it is a bad ground connection. You just have to clean the connection and it should take care of the problem. Good Luck and let us know.

I take it your lights are doing the typical fade. moisture gets inside and EATS all the chrome coating off.
If its not physically a bulb then its time for some good used taillights.

well i just ordered a set of l.e.d bulbs for both my tailights, so that will fix my problem... thanks guys for your input
